Job Description
The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Psychometrist to support psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents. This position plays a vital role in the assessment process by ensuring accurate test administration, scoring, and documentation while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer psychological and neuropsychological assessments to children and adolescents (parents may be present to assist as needed)
- Score assessments and prepare comprehensive data table summaries of all tests administered
- Document detailed behavioral and testing observations within two business days
- Participate in consultation with psychology and interdisciplinary teams regarding:
- Behavioral observations
- Test results
- Validity and interpretation considerations
- Attend weekly Psychology Team meetings
- Maintain interview and testing rooms, ensuring readiness and organization
- Manage and track testing materials and assessment tools
- Provide administrative and clinical support to supervising psychologists as requested
Additional Opportunities
- Training center staff on standardized test administration
- Participation on the Crisis Prevention and Intervention Team
- Training in administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)

Shift
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Certifications as required by state/federal law or regulatory agencies is necessary.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $17.05 - $20.00 hourly
Grade: GGS - 007
