The Department of Finance in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago invites candidates to apply for a full-time, one-year, non-tenure track faculty appointment to begin in fall 2025. The teaching load will be six courses. Applicants with previous teaching experience in finance, as well as business experience, preferably in the Chicago metropolitan area, are preferred. Recent research activities in finance or related fields are recommended.
The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses related to finance. Specific course assignments may include Introduction to Finance and Introduction to Investments. The successful candidate will be a thoughtful leader in this dynamic evolving area and work with colleagues to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum.

Minimum education and/or work experience:
Academic and professional qualifications include a minimum of an earned master's degree in finance or related field. Candidates with a Ph.D. or final stages of completing a Ph.D. (ABD) in business administration or a related field are preferred. Candidates should have leadership experience in business and teaching experience. A record of recent research activities as defined by AACSB will be preferred. Qualified candidates must demonstrate teaching effectiveness, a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of the university.
