Pay Range: $66,000 - $85,000 - 12-month salary
Pay Determination:
Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable.

Job Description:
The Ross Lab in the Physics Department at Syracuse University is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to lead and engage in research activities in single molecule biophysics, quantitative optical microscopy on the cytoskeleton and nanoscale active matter. The candidate will be expected to write and edit manuscripts and grant proposals. The candidate must also be able to manage laboratory equipment, mentor graduate and undergraduate students. A minimum of 4 years of postdoctoral training is required. This is a 12-month, full-time appointment.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Physics, Engineering or other closely related field.
- Minimum four-years of post-doctoral or professional experience required.
