About the role
The Division of Public Health & Epidemiology at the University of Leicester are seeking a Research Assistant to join them on a fixed term basis to support research into staff wellbeing and patient safety in the NHS. The post is funded through funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) East Midlands, and is linked the research theme of Translating and Implementing Sustainable Service Improvement. The post will involve completing a review of the literature on the evidence of the association between staff wellbeing and patient safety, and the mechanisms through which staff wellbeing can impact on patient safety. The postholder will contribute to writing an academic publication from the research.
About you
As the successful applicant, you will have an Honours degree and/or relevant experience, and must have research experience in the field of workforce wellbeing and patient safety. You will have experience of reviewing academic literature. You will have excellent skills in writing and presenting to academic audiences, and effective interpersonal skills to work successfully alongside a team to deliver the research aims.
