About the role

The Division of Public Health & Epidemiology at the University of Leicester are seeking a Research Associate to join them on a fixed term basis to support research into the implementation of interventions to improve care for people with multiple long-term conditions in primary care, funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) East Midlands. The post will involve conducting and analysing data from interviews with staff in NHS commissioning organisations (Integrated Care Boards) nationally, exploring how such organisations support implementation of innovation at scale in primary care. The postholder will lead on writing an academic publication from the research.

About you

As the successful applicant, you will have a PhD in a relevant subject area or equivalent, and must have experience in qualitative methods, health services and policy research, and evaluation approaches. You will have excellent skills in writing and presenting to academic audiences, and effective interpersonal skills to work successfully alongside a team to deliver the research aims.
