Research Associate
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join the Norwich Medical School at the University of East Anglia - Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
We are offering an exciting opportunity to work on a funded research project helping to develop more accessible anxiety measures in stroke. You will travel to stroke rehabilitation wards in the region and support data collection by administering a structured mental health interview to inpatients. You will work with patients who may have varying needs and difficulties, such as communication problems and mental health difficulties.

This post is also a great opportunity for someone looking to build their clinical experience in a population with neurological conditions, and for those wishing to develop competencies in mood and psychological assessment.
You will be a Speech and Language Therapy or Psychology graduate with a 2:2 or above, who will need to travel throughout the region to visit research sites.
This part-time (0.4 FTE) post is available from 15 October 2025 on a fixed term basis for 10 months.
