Overview

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for conducting and maintaining research projects in laboratories and greenhouses for faculty in the Department of Horticulture.

This is a one year limited term position and is funded from external sources. Continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funds.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Data collection, management, and analysis
• Operation of research instrumentation
• Supervision of graduate and undergraduate students
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The selected individual will be expected to regularly communicate with research faculty and will be expected to be part of research planning and implementation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in content specific area of research and 4 years of Experience in research practices and protocols
