The Opportunity:
Working within and outwith the University of Edinburgh’s Centre for Homelessness and Inclusion health, the post-holder will work with the Centre’s Reader to lead a project aiming to increase inclusion health research and evaluation capacity and capability across Scotland. This includes working with the NHS (Acute and Health and Social Care Partnerships) and Third sector homelessness organisations. The role also involves securing grants to sustain inclusion health research capacity and capability.
This post is 0.75FTE and we are open to considering flexible working patterns. On-campus working and travel to different areas of Scotland is expected.
The salary for this post is Grade 7 - appointment will be made on step 1 of the grade due to budgetary restrictions, £41,064.00 per annum, pro rata. The post is fixed term for 1 year but the postholder will be encouraged to secure funding to sustain the post beyond one year.

- Experience in mentoring and supervising people and projects
- Proven resolve to tackle health inequalities
- Commitment to work with a range of front line homelessness, and NHS staff
- Experience of research grant writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills
