- optimise research project outcomes by identifying efficiencies, refining analytical approaches, and ensuring alignment with defined research objectives and timelines
- provide strategic research direction by keeping the team informed of emerging methodologies, technologies, and compliance requirements, and supporting senior researchers in integrating these into ongoing projects
- undertake additional duties consistent with the scope and classification of the role, contributing to the broader success of the research team and adapting to evolving project needs
- advise the research team on the adoption and implementation of innovative methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and scientific rigour
- manage and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the processing and analysis of complex biosignals, ensuring transparency, reproducibility, and adherence to ethical and institutional standards
About you:
- tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
- experience in data collation and processing, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex datasets
- familiarity with research software tools such as SPSS, R, MATLAB, REDCap, Remark, or similar platforms used in data analysis and research workflows
- experience working in public health, healthcare, or biomedical research settings, with an understanding of sector-specific data challenges and ethical considerations
- demonstrated experience working within the higher education sector, including collaboration with academic researchers and navigating institutional research environments
- proficiency in applying data science techniques, including statistical modelling and machine learning, to extract insights from diverse and complex datasets
- demonstrates a strong ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
