About the role:

Operating within The Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research, the Research Officer will be primarily responsible for managing the analytical lab and supporting research projects in the Centre for Human Metabolism and Performance including overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintaining equipment, ensuring quality assurance standards are met, liaising with service engineers, managing lab supplies and budgets, and training staff and students. The Research Officer will also be involved in other aspects of the CHaMP research projects such as ethics applications, data analysis and manuscript preparation.

• Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 - $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
