Job Summary:

Our office conducts clinical trials with patients who have chronic kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease, glomerular disease, and/or hypertension. Many of our trials assess novel therapies in these populations.

This position will serve as the coordinator for an ongoing 12-month interventional trial assessing the effects of a glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist (GLP1) vs. placebo in people with autosomal dominant kidney disease. This position will provide support on other trials in our office as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting study participants to various clinical trials
  • Performing participant assessments
  • Maintaining regulatory documents
  • Managing study data
  • Processing participant specimens

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Intermediate level:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • A combination of education and related professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • One (1) year clinical research or related experience

Senior Level:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • A combination of education and related professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • Two (2) years clinical research or related experience

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or health related field
  • Two (2) years of clinical research or related experience (Intermediate level)
  • Three (3) years of clinical research or related experience (Senior level)
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g. EMR or EHR and data management systems)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology medical terminology
  • Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information

Anticipated Pay Range:

  • Intermediate level: $52,721 - $70,646
  • Senior level: $56,995 - $76,374

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
