RESEARCH STUDY ASSISTANT, School of Medicine, Framingham Heart Study
The primary purpose of this position is to support the integrity of the Framingham Heart Study's Endpoint Review process and Sequence of Events (SOE) database by ensuring all reviews are conducted in accordance with established protocols. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate and complete demographic, morbidity, and mortality data, helping to minimize participant data loss.
Responsibilities also include preparing and managing medical records for review, evaluating participant medical histories, monitoring data systems for compliance, and contributing to participant tracking strategies such as National Death Index (NDI) searches. The position also supports special projects, generating datasets and reports that assist researchers in ongoing study efforts.
