Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SCCM/ JAMF/ Intune Engineer to manage and support our endpoint management infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT), JAMF (Apple Device Management) and Microsoft Intune, with a strong focus on modern device management, application deployment, patching, compliance policies, and automation. Provides exceptional customer service to our faculty and staff. This position will provide technical support at special events as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Design, deploy, and manage SCCM, Intune, and Jamf Pro environments to support Windows and macOS endpoints. Create, update and manage all OS.
- Lead the implementation of all OS’s management policies, packaging, and compliance using Jamf Pro.
- Administer Windows Autopilot, Intune MDM/MAM, and co-management strategies.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory.
- Develop and maintain task sequences for Windows OS deployment and OS upgrade strategies.
- Package, deploy, and maintain software for Windows (MSI, EXE, Win32) and macOS (PKG, DMG, scripts).
- Configure and enforce compliance, security baselines, and configuration profiles across devices.
- Manage patching and update compliance for both Windows and Mac devices using SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
- Automate administrative tasks and reporting using PowerShell, shell scripting, and APIs.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure endpoint hardening and standards are met.
- Monitor device health, deployment status, and compliance using built-in reporting tools or Power BI.
- Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting for complex endpoint management issues.
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware, computer peripherals for both Macintosh and Windows.
- Identifying, researching and resolving technical problems.
- Tracking and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Installing new computers, software and peripherals.
- Participates in the growth and development of the department. This involves: Attending departmental staff meetings as requested.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required or applicable work experience.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Certificates in technical field and both Mac and Windows platform knowledge a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-Starter, customer focused. Able to work with C suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic IT environment.
- Comfortable in an evolving environment.
- Personality to fit in with a great team.
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical field, Desktop technician experience a plus.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune.
- 2+ years of experience managing macOS devices using Jamf Pro.
- Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 architecture and deployment techniques.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, customization and reporting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and Azure AD.
- Knowledge of Windows Autopilot, co-management, and hybrid Azure AD join scenarios.
- Solid understanding of patch management and application lifecycle.
Preferred:
- Microsoft certifications (MD-102, AZ-104) and/or Jamf certifications (Jamf Certified Tech/Admin).
- Experience with conditional access, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and security baselines.
- Familiarity with third-party patching tools and endpoint analytics.
- Exposure to Zero Touch deployment and remote onboarding workflows.
