Student Journey Services is a collaborative group made up of the Future Students, Outreach, Scholarships, Student Enquiries, Student Transition and Student Success teams. Together, we support students through every stage of their Murdoch University experience from first contact to graduation.

Your New Role!
We are seeking a dedicated Scholarships Officer to provide high‑quality support for student scholarship programs. This role oversees student enquiries, assesses applications, ensures compliance with relevant policies, and coordinates the disbursement of scholarship funds.
Key Duties Include:
Responding to student enquiries and providing accurate information about scholarship processes.
Assessing scholarship applications and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Managing the administration and disbursement of scholarship funds.
Working collaboratively with students, staff, and stakeholders using strong communication and customer service skills.
Applying knowledge and skills gained through a completed degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.

This Continuous| Part time (22.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $80K – $98K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:
A relevant degree with experience, or a suitable combination of education and training.
Experience administering financial or funding programs and monitoring compliance.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and stakeholders.
Initiative, accountability, and effective problem‑solving skills.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to manage varied tasks.
