Benefits Summary:

Retirement: The University contributes 4% of the regular salary with up to 3% additional in matched contributions into the TIAA Retirement Program. Employees receive two weeks of vacation until five years of service, three weeks of vacation until 10 years of service, and four weeks of vacation after 10 years of service, two weeks of sick leave, and three days per year of personal leave.

Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for supporting the functions of the College of Pharmacy. Several of the chief tasks include office reception, addressing student inquiries, maintaining records of student standing, progression, up-ranking students, and supporting the College Administration.
Scope:
Support the College of Pharmacy, primarily, through assisting the Associate Dean of Operations and Student Services Director with tasks to support student success and student retention.
Principal Responsibilities
- Help resolve student concerns/inquires or appropriately triage to other offices on campus.
- Receptionist to guests of the College of Pharmacy.
- Track and maintain Associate Dean’s and Director of Student Services schedules.
- Monitoring and maintaining student academic files.
- Notify Registrar, Financial Aid and other various personnel of student up-ranking and anticipated graduation date changes.
-Populate and maintain student listservs for the College of Pharmacy.
- Track and monitor students transferring out of the College of Pharmacy.
- Assist Associate Dean with end-of-semester academic action letters and any subsequent student documentation needed.
-Process Dean’s List certificates.
- Perform basic word processing, record checking and data transferring.
- Facilitate paperwork related to course offerings each term.
- Assist office personnel in other duties as needed.
- Maintain College of Pharmacy content in the University catalog.
- Assist Associate Dean with committee work.
- Prepare and verify student status for Ohio Board of Pharmacy Intern licensure.
-Maintain welcoming building presence (including alumni plaza pavers, class composites, etc)
-Maintain communication with students on leave of absence from the program to facilitate their return.
- Provide clerical support to the Associate Dean and Director of Student Services through handling calls, greeting and directing office guests, and accommodating smooth office flow.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Excellent organization, communication and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel.
- Ability to perform moderately complex procedures using basic analytic ability.
- Ease in discussing issues of moderate importance with higher officials through cooperation, explanation and persuasion.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of similar office experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational school, technical school, certification, training or an apprenticeship beyond high school.
- Two or more years of similar office experience.
- Experience with Banner.
