Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Medical Engineering/Biomaterials or related fields;
• PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Physics (with a focus on biophysics/medical physics), Chemical Engineering/Biomaterials or related fields;

Specific Requirements

The candidate must have good knowledge of:

• cell cultures and in vitro models;
• assessment of cytotoxicity and cell viability;
• assessment of oxidative stress and reactive oxygen species;
• cell biology techniques, as well as nanotoxicology;
• assessment of interactions between nanomaterials/materials and biological systems.
• language skills: advanced level of English.
• planning, organization and efficiency in managing allocated resources;
• loyalty and confidentiality regarding the objectives and activities of the project;
• good skills in written and oral communication;

Eligibility criteria

• Bachelor degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Medical Engineering/Biomaterials or related fields;
• PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Physics (with a focus on biophysics/medical physics), Chemical Engineering/Biomaterials or related fields;
• Citizenship of Romania or other EU countries;
• Resident of Romania.
