Location

Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.

Job Summary

The individual filling the position will teach undergraduate Biology courses with an average teaching load of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have a commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.

Responsibilities include teaching both introductory and advanced level courses, preparing and delivering lectures in face-to-face and online environments, leading and moderating classroom discussions and administering and grading examinations.

Additional essential duties will include advising and mentoring students and participating in campus events.

Faculty are required to post daily office hours available for student advisement.

Faculty are assigned committee leadership tasks within the Department and College.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

A graduate degree, PhD or Master's Degree is required 

Two (2) years of applicable teaching experience at the collegiate level 

Preferred Qualifications

A strong record of teaching, particularly with a varied student population is desired.

Proposed Salary

Salary range is from $46,400 to $55,000

Demonstrate the ability to teach undergraduate courses in Biology with an average teaching load of fifteen (15) hours per semester.

Strong oral communication skills.

Customer service mindset.
