"Senior Clinical Educator ? Online MSW Program"

Position Information

Eastern Oregon University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month Senior Clinical Educator to join the online Master of Social Work (MSW) Program. This remote faculty position will support a fully online, asynchronous graduate program with a focus on advanced generalist practice serving rural and underserved populations. Responsibilities include teaching, advising, scholarship, service, and contributions to accreditation efforts. The MSW program launched in Fall 2025; this role begins Fall 2026 and includes 45 total quarter credit hours of teaching and service over the 9-month appointment.

Job Description Summary

The MSW program at EOU is designed to serve adult learners, particularly those in rural and underserved communities, through a fully online, asynchronous delivery model. Operating on an 11-week quarter system, the curriculum emphasizes ethical, inclusive, and evidence-informed advanced generalist practice. The program does not require campus residency or travel. EOU seeks professionals who demonstrate commitment and teaching effectiveness in order to assist our students in preparing and attaining their professional goals. The anticipated start date for this faculty position is September 15, 2026, with instruction beginning September 28, 2026. The appointment covers Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters, with Summer term off.

Compensation is based on the successful applicant’s education and relevant teaching and social work experience.
