Senior Director, Prospective Student Relations/Enrollment Management
The Blinn College District is searching for a Senior Director, Prospective Student Relations/Enrollment Management.
Job Summary
To direct and supervise recruitment activities, enrollment services, dual credit, international student and TEAM programs.
Principal Accountabilities
- Directs and manages daily operations of Dual Credit, Prospective Student Relations, Enrollment Services, International Student Program, and TEAM Program employees; performs annual evaluations.
- Builds collaborative relationships with high schools to develop and implement coordinated recruitment services including college application and FAFSA completion.
- Researches and incorporates best practices for recruiting prospective students to the Blinn College District.
- Directs the organization of program data collection required for program reports and evaluation.
- Establishes, negotiates, and executes required documentation on all inter-local agreements and contracts.
- Serves as financial manager of Enrollment Services, TEAM, and Prospective Student Relations departments and oversees the department's budget development.
- Works cooperatively with Marketing staff to develop and implement effective recruitment and marketing strategies related to Recruitment.
- Develops and implements recruitment events including Preview Day, group tours, and campus tours to attract prospective students to Blinn College District.
- Directs the organization, development, and distribution of all necessary program information for Enrollment Services, Dual Credit, Prospective Student Relations, International Student Program, and TEAM Program .
- Working directly with school district administration and staff to identify high school needs and develops a strategic plan to sustain continued school relations.
- Serves as a Designated School Official for International Student Programs.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Windows software, integrated software systems, and related instruction technology.
- 3 + years direct supervisory experience.
Minimum Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and function well in both internal and external team environments.
- Ability to compose memoranda, reports and other documents for internal and external audiences.
- Ability to multi-task in a complex and highly visible environment.
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with College and High School faculty and administration.
- Ability to manage budgets, records, databases, and files.
- Knowledge of college and high school instruction programs.
- Ability to provide all reports needed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ability to satisfy the College requirement for Driver authorization.
- Ability to travel throughout the College service area high schools.
- Valid Texas Driver's license or ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university.
- Experience with Banner and instructional programs at the College.
- Teaching experience at the secondary and/or post secondary level.

Travel 25% of time
This is a 12 month, benefits-eligible position. Blinn College pays 100% of health insurance for full-time employees, 50% for dependents, and two times your annual salary in life insurance benefits. Yearly leave time includes:
96 hours vacation
40 hours discretionary
16 hours personal
8 hours sick each month.
