As a part of the programme management responsibilities, the main duties will include overseeing high-quality delivery of the DBA, curriculum design, allocation of teaching resources for Doctoral modules, coordinating various Doctoral programme activities & events, such as the Knowledge Symposium, attendance & publication at Conferences, providing students with the skillset to publish high-quality research, providing day-to-day support and mentoring for students, liaising with key stakeholders in the University, performing admissions interviews, and supervising the doctoral research of DBA students to completion. The responsibility will also include identifying suitable Doctoral Supervisors, and conducting and chairing vivas.

The post holder will offer academic and pastoral support to the students to the highest professional standards. This will include the development of a wide variety of lifelong learning competencies for DBA students across both Part I and Part II of the programme. The Senior Lecturer is expected to contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute and the wider University, and champion their own individual research field and/or academic specialism. The ability and willingness to teach and lead on other business management programmes will also be advantageous.
