About the Role
The Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Research) will be a key member within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. This role combines high-quality research with excellence in teaching, leadership and service. The incumbent will design, coordinate and deliver engaging topics and learning materials, including lectures, tutorials and assessment, ensuring an outstanding student experience across programs.
The role will lead innovative, student-centred teaching approaches, including the effective use of e-learning platforms and contemporary pedagogies. The position requires a strong contribution to ethical, high-impact research through publications, competitive grant funding, scholarship and conference presentations, aligned with the Caring Futures Institute.
The Senior Lecturer will mentor early career researchers, undertake topic and course coordination, and contribute to internal and external quality assurance and accreditation processes in a leadership capacity.

About You
You are an accomplished academic with substantial tertiary teaching experience and a strong research profile, demonstrating a deep understanding of the nexus between teaching, learning, research, scholarship and clinical practice. You communicate with clarity and impact, using your interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with colleagues, students, industry partners and community stakeholders.
You hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Nursing in a relevant discipline area and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Nurse. Your extensive clinical experience spans the continuum of nursing practice. You bring demonstrated knowledge of First Nations health and a commitment to culturally safe and responsive teaching. A proven record of successful Honours supervision further reflects your dedication to developing the next generation of nursing professionals.
