We are looking for driven Nursing and Midwifery academics with a track record of excellence in research, scholarship, teaching, and clinical practise.
The Senior Lecturer is responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of courses within undergraduate and postgraduate program and will make a significant research contribution in related areas. We are looking for Senior Lecturers to specialise in either Nursing or Midwifery.
The team
You will make distinguished contributions to College of Health teaching strategy and research development in the area of nursing or midwifery. The position will contribute independently and as part of a team to support Adelaide University’s teaching and research outcomes and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their research and professional growth.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor of Midwifery and Doctoral degree (PhD) qualification in a relevant health discipline.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and a commitment to contemporary midwifery practice.
- Demonstrated academic experience, teaching students engaged in undergraduate, preregistration and postgraduate Midwifery programs.
- Demonstrated academic leadership ability and experience in curriculum development, course design and course writing that is academically relevant and reflects pedagogical, student and professional needs and standards.
