Senior Office Assistant

Tennessee State University Department of Dental Hygiene invites applications for the position of Senior Office Assistant.

General Function:
The Senior Office Assistant, (SOA) is responsible for the overall administrative management and synchronization of two programs. Also, unique to Dental Hygiene is a full service, patient-centered clinic; the SOA must communicate with the administrative staff within the on-site clinic to maintain a seamless process (Supervisory Dentist, Administrative Assistant, and Clinic Assistant). This overall supervision/oversight includes student records (60-currently enrolled, 138 [new, transfer, readmit]), 13-faculty records, 3-staff records, multiple vendor records, and financial maintenance for 8-departmental accounts including the onsite dental hygiene clinic. This position will be involved with all university platforms (Banner, SciQuest, PeopleAdrnin, Compliance Assist, SPOL, SharePoint and Degree Works), Microsoft Suite, outside platforms include Ascend Academic (clinic patient management).
