About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape career readiness, student experience and employment outcomes across UNSW Business School and AGSM through data-led insights and program design.

Sitting at the intersection of student experience and employability, this role connects career readiness insights and employment outcomes to inform the design and improvement of high-quality, scalable initiatives.

As a Senior Program Officer, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of key initiatives, from planning and implementation through to evaluation and continuous improvement. A core focus is analysing data on student engagement, career readiness and employment outcomes to inform program design and decision-making.

You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and quality assure student-facing career communications, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with employability frameworks. The role also involves embedding scalable career development initiatives and providing insights on career pathways and labour market trends.

Strong project management, data literacy and the ability to work both independently while collaborating effectively with others are critical. Experience in government, consulting, higher education or similarly complex environments is desirable.

You will bring strong analytical capability, with proven experience synthesising data from multiple systems (e.g. LMS, CRM and reporting tools) and translating insights into clear, student-centred initiatives, communications and experiences.

The role reports to the Program Manager.

Specific responsibilities for this role

  • Lead the design and delivery of innovative, blended (digital and in-person) WIL and career readiness programs.
  • Lead the analysis and interpretation of career readiness, engagement and employment outcomes data to generate insights that inform decision-making and program design.
  • Design and enhance end-to-end student career journeys, focusing on key transition points throughout the student lifecycle.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to co-create engaging, scalable learning experiences.
  • Translate labour market trends and employment outcomes data into clear career pathways and student-facing insights.
  • Manage program delivery end-to-end, including planning, governance, risk management and reporting.
  • Develop high-quality communications and program materials, ensuring consistency with career development frameworks.
  • Track progress against milestones and ensure time, cost and quality outcomes are achieved.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation.
