"Senior Project Manager, The People Lab"

The Senior Project Manager will manage the implementation of two large research projects for The People Lab. Each project is estimated to be around 50% of the role. The National City Survey involves launching the first-ever national survey of city employees in 2026, overseeing the creation of a national panel data set, and coordinating surveys in select cities with plans to scale up annually. The Policy Bot project entails managing the development of an interactive AI bot for policymakers, including gathering evidence, conducting behavioral experiments, and coordinating with stakeholders for implementation and scaling.

Responsibilities include coordinating scalable survey and AI tool infrastructure, developing relationships with government partners, managing project timelines and deliverables, overseeing implementation logistics such as IRB protocols, and supporting report and grant writing.

Qualifications require a graduate degree in a related field, at least 3 years of experience, and prior applied research experience. Additional skills include excellent organizational and communication abilities, project management expertise, and preferably experience in survey design or the public sector.
