• Remuneration: $113,926 base, plus 17% superannuation and leave loading

Details of the role

The Senior Project Officer plays a key role within the Implementation to Impact Program in providing high-level coordination and analytical support across multiple digital health initiatives, with a focus on cancer related projects.

Working closely with the Deputy Director, this role will coordinate project activities, manage communications and stakeholder engagement, assist with ethics and governance submissions, and contribute to the evaluation and reporting of digital health tools.

The role reports to the Deputy Director and has no direct reports.

Some key skills required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
• Develop and monitor the delivery of implementation science-based health projects and initiatives within the field of digital health to achieve operational and strategic goals.
• Support the design, coordination, and delivery of evaluation activities for digital health projects, including preparation of ethics and governance applications, data collection and analysis, and development of evaluation reports and manuscripts.
• Contribute to participatory and user-centred design activities to inform the development and implementation of digital health tools, ensuring stakeholder perspectives and implementation science principles are integrated throughout project design and delivery.
• Assist with the preparation of funding proposals, project documentation, and progress reports to support the sustainability and translation of digital health initiatives across health service and research settings.
• Experience supporting the design and delivery of evaluation activities for health or digital health projects, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of evaluation reports.
• Familiarity with participatory or user-centred design approaches (e.g., co-design, design thinking, human-centred design) and an interest in applying these methods to the development and implementation of digital health tools.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the preparation of research ethics applications, funding proposals, and scholarly or technical publications.
