- Remuneration: $138,193 to $156,633 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $116,774 to $132,357 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)
- Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. In support of our strategic priority of Indigenous Australian success, Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people who are not QUT staff are also eligible and encouraged to apply. Please note that current staff wishing to be considered for secondment to this position must seek prior approval from their supervisor before submitting an application.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Records Coordinator to join QUT Governance, Administrative Division.
The Senior Records Coordinator is a key role within QUT Governance, responsible for leading day-to-day records management operations and delivering expert recordkeeping advice across the University. The position works closely with stakeholders to develop practical, compliant and innovative recordkeeping solutions, supports the administration of QUT’s corporate records management system, and contributes to training, communication and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also plays an important part in strengthening recordkeeping capability and compliance across the University.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a relevant postgraduate qualification, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications, together with extensive relevant experience in records management.
- Extensive knowledge of records management principles, practices and regulatory environment with demonstrated experience in corporate recordkeeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and build productive partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including developing and delivering training to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to apply analytical skills, effectively prioritise work and operate efficiently and with agility to meet key project objectives, milestones, and operational deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in utilising systems functionality to develop tailored recordkeeping solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in staff management and supervision, including the ability to develop, maintain and work effectively under a collaborative team approach.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
