Office Coordinator
About This Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, energetic and organised Office Coordinator to support the effective and efficient operation of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Green Electrochemical Transformation of Carbon Dioxide (GETCO2) and UQ Dow Centre for Sustainable Engineering Innovation.
In this role you will report to the GETCO2 Deputy Director Strategy & Operations and work within a small, high-performing team to ensure the smooth, effective and efficient operation of the centres. To be successful in this role, you will possess highly developed administration, coordination and interpersonal communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-level administrative support to Centre Executives, including diary management, travel coordination, and credit card reconciliation.
- Coordinate space, resources, equipment and facilities to optimise office operations and outcomes.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve administrative processes, systems, standard operating procedures and office protocols.
- Respond to complex enquiries, interpreting relevant policies, procedures and entitlements as required.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships that support Centre operations.
- Manage financial administration, including accounts payable, invoice processing and reimbursement claims in line with University policies.
- Coordinate committees, events, seminars and engagement activities, including end-to-end planning and delivery.
- Undertake data management and project support activities, including data reporting, record keeping and coordination or delivery of office-based projects.
