Offer Description
One employee for an academic position of Senior Research Assistant, Type I, in the scientific area of Biotechnical Sciences, scientific field of Agriculture, to work on the project entitled METEOR – Development of an Innovative Robot for Measuring Heavy Metals in Soil. The position is offered for a fixed term of 33 months, on a full-time basis. All applicants for the vacancy announcement must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act ("Official Gazette" Nos. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23).
Applicants for the position under item 1 must also meet the requirements prescribed by Article 123, paragraph 5 of the Statute of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek and Article 51, paragraph 5 of the Statute of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, namely that they have obtained a doctoral degree in the scientific area of Biotechnical Sciences, scientific field of Agriculture, have published at least one scientific paper, and have participated in at least one national or international scientific conference.

The application must be accompanied by the following documents: curriculum vitae; the original diploma or a certified copy of the diploma confirming the award of a doctoral degree in the scientific area of Biotechnical Sciences, scientific field of Agriculture; a copy of at least one published scientific paper; proof of participation in at least one national or international scientific conference; and a completed and signed consent form for the collection and processing of personal data for the purpose of conducting the vacancy announcement.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of the vacancy announcement no later than 15 days from the date on which the selection procedure is completed.
By submitting an application, each applicant gives consent to the collection and processing of all personal data contained in the application documentation for the purpose of conducting the vacancy procedure, in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
Each applicant is required to submit a duly completed and signed Consent Form published on the website of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek. Without a duly completed and signed Consent Form enclosed with the application, the application shall be deemed incomplete and shall be rejected.
Applicants shall submit their applications, together with supporting documentation demonstrating that they meet the requirements of the vacancy announcement, in written form in one copy and in electronic form on a CD, in PDF format, within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of the vacancy announcement in the “Official Gazette”.
