Scientific position of senior research associate, in the field of biotechnical sciences, food technology, to work in the Department of Plant Sciences of the Institute, for an indefinite period, 1 executive (m/f).

Skills/Qualifications
In addition to the general conditions for employment prescribed by the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act, the National University, Scientific and Artistic Criteria (Official Gazette No. 42/26), and the conditions prescribed by the Ordinance on Additional Conditions for Selection for Scientific Positions at the Institute (https://www.krs.hr/o-institutu/dokumenti), applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Doctorate in the field of biotechnical sciences
- Experience in scientific research work in grape and wine production technology and chromatographic and spectrophotometric analysis methods (HPLC, GC-MS, UV/VIS)
- Active knowledge of the English language
Specific Requirements
Along with the application for the competition, it is necessary to attach:
- CV
- Motivation letter including a description of research interests
- Proof of a PhD in the requested field
- A brief summary of scientific activities and a list of scientific publications
- Proof of English language proficiency (copy of index, certificate, diploma or equivalent certificate)
Candidates who have obtained a higher education qualification abroad must submit with their application an Opinion on the evaluation of a foreign higher education qualification issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education or a Confirmation on the initiation of the procedure for the evaluation of a foreign higher education qualification issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.
A person who has not submitted a timely or complete application or who does not meet the formal requirements of the public competition shall not be considered a candidate in the competition procedure.

The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and/or tested. If the candidate does not attend the interview and/or testing, it will be considered that he/she has withdrawn his/her application. Candidates will be informed about the time of the interview and/or test.
