Major Duties
Under the general supervision of the Senior Director, the Senior Resource Analyst develops analytical tools and reporting solutions, performs complex budget and financial analysis, supports resource planning initiatives, provides technical consultation and training, and advances process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making throughout Academic Affairs.
- Manages complex projects that involve the intersectionality of the schedule of classes, space utilization, human resources, and financials for Academic Affairs.
- Builds new systems, reports, and data visualizations at the request of the provost and other units.
- Demonstrates advanced expertise in identifying, analyzing, and leveraging available resources to support new initiatives including financial, human, and space.
- Oversees Academic Affairs discretionary accounts with a high degree of accuracy.
- Provides complex analyses of allocations and expenditures, account reconciliation, monitoring budget to actuals, financial reporting, and variance reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field required.
- Equivalent to five (5) years of full-time, progressively responsible relevant experience. Oversight and administration of a program with supervision and/or lead experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related degree strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis, resource planning, and organizational operations, with the ability to evaluate and synthesize complex information related to class scheduling, space utilization, human resources, and financial activities. Demonstrated skill in identifying trends, assessing resource needs, and developing data-driven recommendations that support strategic initiatives, operational effectiveness, and informed decision-making. Knowledge and experience in dashboard creation, CFS Data Warehouse and a budgeting system preferred
- Expert skill in developing and enhancing reporting systems, dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical tools to support organizational objectives. Ability to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions that increase efficiency, strengthen reporting capabilities, and support continuous process improvement across multiple functional areas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting, accounting principles, financial reconciliation, and fund administration. Demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze complex budgets, reconcile multiple funding sources, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and fiscal guidelines while managing high-volume financial activity.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, evaluate budget performance, and prepare detailed financial, expenditure, and variance reports. Ability to identify trends, assess fiscal impacts, develop actionable recommendations, and communicate financial information clearly to support strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

- Classification: 1038 / Administrative Analyst/Specialist / 3
- The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $5797 - $7649 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $5797 - $8445 per month.
- HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
- This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
- The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
