- Base salary range: $104,243 – $115,661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
This position is located within the Linking for Life research team within the School of Population and Global Health. The role supports two major research programs: Linking for Life (ARC Linkage Project) (L4L) and Australian Child and Youth Wellbeing Atlas (ACYWA).
About the opportunity
- Prepare, manage, and monitor human research ethics applications, amendments, and reporting requirements.
- Assist with coordination of meetings, workshops, and project communications as required.
- Coordinate data access and data sharing processes, including preparing data requests, tracking approvals, and supporting compliance with governance requirements.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in science, health sciences, public health or social sciences, or a related discipline, with at least four years' subsequent relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Extensive experience providing research administration support, including record keeping, documentation preparation, and project communication.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) applications, amendments, and related governance documentation.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to interpret and apply ethics, governance, and data management requirements to address complex and novel situations.
