Specialist IV - Annual Giving Coordinator

General Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications. Two years of experience in fund-raising, marketing, customer relations, communications, event planning.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

Plans and implements strategies to generate annual support from students, alumni, and friends through various fundraising initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):

Manages programs to generate annual engagement and annual giving support from students, alumni, and friends through various programs and initiatives. This includes, but not limited to; Senior Class Legacy program, Student Philanthropy events, SHSU Giving Day, Crowdfunding, and the SHSU Giving social media platforms. Compiles and analyzes statistical data and prepares reports for higher level management. Broadens the donor base and increases overall participation and financial support. Performs other related duties as assigned.
