Job Description
The Senior Education and Training Coordinator supports the development of the biomedical research workforce through the design, coordination, evaluation, and continuous improvement of education and training programs focused on clinical research and clinical trials. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in biomedical or clinical research who is interested in research education, workforce development, and program management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support education and training programs that prepare faculty, staff, and clinicians to support and lead clinical research studies and clinical trials
- Assist with development and maintenance of training curricula related to clinical trial operations, investigator responsibilities, study coordination, research compliance, and best practices in clinical research
- Plan and manage training logistics, including scheduling, materials, tracking participation, and documentation
- Collaborate with faculty leaders, research staff, clinicians, and institutional partners to implement research education initiatives
- Collect and analyze program feedback through surveys, evaluations, and structured note-taking
- Apply quality improvement principles to assess program effectiveness and recommend enhancements to content, delivery, and support
- Track program participation, outcomes, and key metrics to support reporting and continuous improvement efforts
- Engage stakeholders across academic, clinical, and community settings to broaden access to research education and training opportunities
- Support special projects related to research workforce development as assigned

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Health, Education, or related field preferred.
Experience coordinating or supporting clinical research or clinical trials. Familiarity with research regulations, compliance, and good clinical practice (GCP). Experience with program evaluation, surveys, or quality improvement activities. Experience supporting education, training, or professional development programs.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $52,915.20 - $65,000.00
Grade: GGS - 010
