Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has opening for a Student Assistant for the Clinical Research and Occupational Medicine Division within the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute, located in Piscataway, NJ. Under the direction of the Project Manager I, the student assistant will support the WTC Health Program at Rutgers Operations and Management Team with data entry, records management, and member services.

Duties include:

• Performs data entry and scans documents into secure WTC databases.
• Assists billing manager with processing medical claims.
• Contacts members and/or providers in the WTC Health Program to update contact information.
• Assists with copying and securely transmitting medical records in response to incoming legal and medical requests.
