Student Experience Manager
About the role
The Student Experience Team which forms part of Faculty Education Services are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised individual who can coordinate and support an excellent student experience; focusing primarily on our undergraduate students who are undertaking placements as part of professionally regulated programmes.
Working effectively with a diversity of stakeholders both in faculty and across placement sites; including academic and clinical partners and other Faculty Education Services teams. The Student Experience Manager will need to be service oriented in a highly operational environment, able to manage competing priorities with flexibility and excellent communication skills. Travel to placement sites will be required on a regular basis and experience in data analysis and stakeholder management essential.
Successful candidates will have knowledge of the challenges affecting students in Higher Education and be aware of how the sector is navigating these. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate impact and an approach to celebrating student success. Some experience of managing projects would be beneficial.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or has relevant work experience within the Higher Education or Health sector
- Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal and influencing skills, effectively with a range of stakeholders, including academics and clinicians
- Advanced Microsoft suite skills with experience of systems that support student enquiry and record management
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to manage own workload and prioritise tasks in a busy work environment, managing multiple work-streams independently whilst meeting expected deadlines
- Highly numerate with demonstratable analytical skills including experience of evaluating data and information, use of web analytics, surveys and report production
- Enthusiastic self-starter with a positive and impactful approach to work, knowing when to work independently and flexibly but also able to work as part of a team
Desirable criteria
- Experience of delivering events on differing scale and prominence
- Good working knowledge of all communication disciplines, including social media and communications tools such as Microsoft software and content management systems, and their use as part of an integrated communications strategy
- Understanding of professionally regulated programmes and/or placement provision experience of working with students and key stakeholders supporting aspects of these programmes

Grade and Salary: £45,031 - £52,514 per annum, including London Weighting Allowance
