Job Summary
The Student Housing Area Coordinator facilitates the operations of multiple residential communities. Oversees through supervision of the Student Housing Hall Coordinators, Graduate Community Directors, known as Community Directors, and other community support staff. Ensures that area staff is promoting a supportive climate for residents to thrive academically and socially through mentoring and supervising the Community Director staff.
Additional Department Summary
Completes required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace. Holds staff accountable for completion of required training and expectations. Has personal accountability for financial reporting and responsibility for establishing, enforcing, and following internal processes and controls as outlined in UA policies and procedures.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of student residence life experience; OR master's degree and some student residence life experience.
Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrates commitment to supporting all students.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Organizational Leadership, or other student leadership field. Experience working in a residence hall as well as some supervisory and customer service experience.

Pay Grade/Pay Range
Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7)
