Summary of Position
The Concurrent Enrollment Student Success Manager supports the CE Director with the overall departmental function of RRCC's Concurrent Enrollment Department. This position provides leadership and oversight of student services components within Concurrent Enrollment, including registration processes, testing, enrollment services and implementing matriculation efforts. The Student Success Manager will design, coordinate, and manage admissions and registration workflows for Concurrent Enrollment programs to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely student enrollment. The role will build and maintain strong partnerships with high schools, counselors, administrators, teachers, parents, and students while developing data-informed outreach and matriculation strategies in collaboration with marketing. The Student Success Manager will track and report enrollment and student outcomes to institutional leadership and state agencies, supervise and mentor Concurrent Enrollment Navigators and support staff, and provide oversight to ensure effective enrollment operations and student support. The position will also coordinate third-party billing and College Opportunity Fund (COF) account corrections, support budget oversight and fiscal compliance with the CE Director, and recruit, advise, and support high school students participating in Concurrent Enrollment, TREP, Early College, and specialized cohorts by guiding them through academic pathways and promoting student success at RRCC.
This position is from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. May require hours outside of regular office hours. May require work at both campuses. May require travel between campuses. Alternative work arrangement options are available when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Detailed, organized and able to work with evolving and complex systems.
- Verbal and written communication skills include the ability to present information to groups and in public settings and to give and receive conceptual or emotionally charged information.
- Ability to create and keep deadlines, manage appointments, pay attention to details, keep work organized, plan, prioritize and achieve goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including ability to merge documents, build formulas in Excel, create "rules" in Outlook.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience.
- Two years' relevant experience in concurrent enrollment for post-secondary institutions, or related.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Experience in higher education or a related setting.
- Six months' experience with a student management system (i.e. Navigate, Banner, Degree Check, D2L).
Physical & Cognitive Demands
The following are some of the physical and cognitive demands commonly associated with this position.
+ Occasionally moves, positions, and transports files and office materials weighing up to 10 lbs.
+ This is largely a sedentary role. This position operates in an office environment and constantly uses a computer, and routinely uses standard office equipment including phones, copiers, etc.
+ The person in this position constantly communicates with internal and external constituents and students. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
+ Cognitive demands include comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, synthesizing, negotiating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.
Starting Salary
Starting salary range for this position is $59,524 - $65,476 annually, commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System.
