Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Student Support Officer (2 Positions Available) to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health.
The Student Support Officer provides front line, specialist consultation and operational services to students, academic staff and other key stakeholders across the University. Located within the Specialist Student Support Team, the role contributes to the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient administration support and specialist service to achieve and maintain excellence in client outcomes. The Student Support Officer reports to the Senior Student Support Officer for the purposes of Performance Planning and Review, and management of workload.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree
- Demonstrated experience in applying planning and organisational skills with flexible thinking to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and balance competing demands.
- Demonstrated a growth-mindset to adapt to changing needs, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people in addition to contributing and maintaining a positive team culture.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in a professional manner, demonstrating high attention to detail and accuracy with all interactions, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature.
- Intermediate or above capability to utilise multiple software applications, enterprise-wide technology and platforms to provide an outcome.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
