Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities

Position Summary:
Join the Event Crew and help make campus events, camps, and conferences a success! This hands-on role is perfect for students who like staying active, working behind the scenes, and being part of the team that brings events to life. You’ll help set up tables, chairs, staging, and other equipment for events, then return spaces to their original condition after they wrap up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up tables, chairs, staging, signage, and other equipment according to event layouts.
• Assist with placing audio/visual equipment (training provided).
• Tear down and store furniture and equipment after events.
• Move and arrange equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for guests.
• Work with other student staff and professional staff to complete setups on time.
• Provide excellent customer service to campus guests.
• Follow all safety guidelines and take care of university property.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Camps and Conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required—training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
