Summer Opportunity - Classroom and Event Tech
Accountabilities:
Responsibilities include:
Event Support Duties:
- Assist professional staff with AV-related event duties including
- Setting up, operating, and removing AV equipment for events, as assigned. Equipment includes but is not limited to video cameras, tripods, webcams, wired and wireless microphones, projectors, and projection screens
- Opportunities to also support virtual events with Zoom meetings and Zoom webinars. – Report any irregularities or malfunctions via the ITS ticketing system. Replace damaged components, such as cables, batteries, keyboards, and mics
Classroom Support Duties:
- This position is also responsible for conducting regularly scheduled classroom and event space visits to verify integrity
- Test and replace microphone batteries, test projector, TV remotes, and other peripherals as needed
- Sign in to classroom computers and confirm the successful connection of webcams and microphones in classroom and event spaces to make sure it works with Zoom
