Salary: $18.00 per hour (To commensurate with skill and experience)
General Statement of Duties:
The summer student Environmental Services, Trades & Grounds Assistant(s) will, under general supervision, assist with duties in their assigned trade(s). Based on campus needs, individuals may be asked to assist with other work as needed. This posting intends to hire:
Three (3) Grounds Assistants
Plant flowers, weed, complete general grounds work and campus maintenance; including trash pick up, empty trash barrels, haul debris, rake leaves. May include use of small equipment to mow grass, trim edging and pruning trees.
Four (5) Paint Assistants
Refresh paint in various campus spaces; including cleaning walls, tape edges, paint trim, walls and parking lot lines.
Four (5) Environmental Services Assistants
Specific cleaning tasks in campus buildings; including dusting, washing walls, deep cleaning soft floors/furniture and moving furniture.
