Position Summary:

The Sustainability Engineer will collaborate on campus-wide decarbonization and emissions reductions initiatives. Priority given to reducing carbon emissions while balancing environmental, financial, and operational priorities such as life cycle cost savings, resilience, and energy reliability. This role focuses on optimizing energy systems, integrating renewable solutions, sustainable procurement, and sustainable landscaping to enhance campus resilience, efficiency and environmental stewardship.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing carbon reduction strategies, analyzing building performance, and supporting infrastructure projects. Collaborate on the design and management of renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with institutional goals through data-driven improvements and performance verification.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within the Integrated Services Division and external partners, this position drives sustainable innovation while ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance. Offers expertise in energy systems, renewable integration, sustainability reporting, and strong analytical and project management skills.
Salary Range: $79,800 - $127,700/annual
