The primary goal of our T32 program is to engage individuals in state-of-the-art approaches to the study of cardiovascular disease prevalence and pathogenesis including basic science, clinical research and population-based studies. Areas of interest include cardiac injury/remodeling (Nikolaos Frangogiannis), brain regulation of metabolism and blood pressure (Dongsheng Cai), chemical/structural biology and drug development targeting cell death (Evripidis Gavathiotis), hematopoietic stem cell biology (Keisuke Ito), Ca2+ and miRNAs (Gaetano Santulli), cardiovascular development (Bernice Morrow), cardiovascular epidemiology (Carlos Rodriguez, Carmen Isasi, Robert Kaplan), bioinformatics and gene regulatory networks (Deyou Zheng), chaperone-mediated autophagy and aging (Ana Maria Cuervo, Derek Huffman), cell death signaling (Richard Kitsis), heart failure and circulatory support (Omar Saeed), metabolism in vascular disease (Wei Chen, Dario Riascos-Bernal, Nicholas Sibinga), and pulmonary vascular disease (Alexandra Racanelli).

Inquiries, including cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of 3 references should be sent to: Dr. Nicholas Sibinga (nicholas.sibinga@einsteinmed.edu) or Dr. Carlos Rodriguez (carlos.rodriguez@einsteinmed.edu).

The salary for this position would be $65,000.
