Collaborating within a team of dedicated education professionals, you will have the chance to plan, deliver, assess, evaluate, and ensure compliance of high-quality education and training programs. Your role will involve customising and adapting programs to meet the diverse needs of our learners and clients, ranging from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels.

About You 

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Vocational experience relevant to the community services sector
  • Vocational experience in community services preferable in the areas of: 
  • Mental Health
  • Alcohol and/or Other Drugs
  • Counselling with a counselling qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes which respond to a diverse range of student learning needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and industry clients.
  • Demonstrated experience or the capacity to develop and conduct training programs directed to the needs of industry and the community.
  • Demonstrated experience or the capacity to develop learning and assessment resources.
  • Demonstrated awareness and understanding of Vocational Education and Training policies and frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)

OR

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)

OR 

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the following units:
  • TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor, OR
  • TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills

AND 

  • TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor, OR
  • TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools OR
  • TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools

OR

  • Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
  • Relevant degree or vocational qualification in community services or related field
