"Admissions Reader, Part-Time, Seasonal"

THE POSITION

The Admissions Reader is a part-time entry level position with flexible hours that plays a key role in the selection of the College’s first-year class. The Admissions Reader will be trained to read for Bryn Mawr College, and a preference will be given to candidates with experience reading applications in a highly selective college or university environment at the undergraduate level.

The main responsibility will be reading and evaluating applications via an individual first and second reader process with possible participation in full-committee discussions.

The Admissions Reader will contextually review the applications of first year students by reviewing essays, letters of recommendations, high school transcripts, and interview reports, and co-curricular participation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Must be able to write clearly and persuasively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts Degree, preferably strong liberal arts, knowledge of Slate CRM, experience reading and evaluating applications at a highly selective college or university.
