Contact prospective students to recruit and admit as well as counsel students and parents about their postsecondary education goals. Contact and correspond with high school counselors to schedule info sessions, onsite visits, and special events. Travel frequently within the state to meet college enrollment goals for an average of 3 days per week during recruiting season, including representing the college at high schools, district and statewide college fairs, and special STEM recruiting events for the purpose of recruiting prospective students. Coordinate participation of the college and its academic departments in on- and off-campus recruiting programs and events; attend applicable university functions; and conduct individual and group information sessions and provide occasional tours of the college. Work collaboratively with the college and university marketing and admissions teams in the execution of university and college recruitment plans/strategies. Monitor and evaluate progress towards recruitment and enrollment targets including collecting and analyzing related data and reports. Identify the need for marketing print and digital materials and products, including contributing to their development with the college and university marketing teams. Remain current with knowledge of educational trends, issues, and challenges for public universities and engineering and computing preparation programs. Select and purchase promotional items for prospective student visits, admissions/recruiting events, and student recruitment. Serve on project teams that enhance the development of internal processes that impact recruitment, admission, and retention of students.

Identify the need for marketing and digital collateral and promotional items, including contributing to their development with the college and university marketing teams. Remain current with knowledge of educational trends, issues, and challenges for public universities and engineering and computing preparation programs. Attend regularly scheduled meetings and complete other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree required. At least two years of related professional experience. Knowledge of recruitment, application or admission procedures. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently in position responsibilities. Demonstrated enthusiasm for college student recruitment and commitment to diversity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s in STEM field, Business, Communications, or a related discipline; Experience using CRM software. Knowledge of academic programs in engineering.Work Hours
