Description: 

 The Course Developer will create designated course content for fully online courses in the Human Services academic program. This role involves developing instructional materials and learning resources, selecting relevant knowledge sources, organizing, creating, and managing content, and designing assessment and evaluation tasks. The courses required for development include: (1) Human Services Policy, (2) Human Services History, (3) Research Methods, (4) Human Development, (5) Human Resources, (6) Statistics, (7) Advanced Statistics, (8) Advanced Research Methods, and (9) Grant Writing. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop online courses focused on the specified topics in Human Services.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to gather content, learning objectives, and assessment criteria.
• Design engaging and interactive course content using multimedia elements, case studies, and real-world examples.
• Ensure courses comply with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and accessibility guidelines.
• Conduct thorough research on current trends, advancements, and best practices in Human Services.
• Integrate technology and instructional design principles to enhance the online learning experience.
• Collaborate with multimedia specialists to create high-quality instructional materials, including videos, presentations, and simulations.
• Review and update course content regularly to reflect changes in the field and ensure ongoing relevance.
• Provide support and guidance to instructors delivering the online courses.

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Human Services or a related field is required.
• Teaching or training experience in the field of Human Services preferred.
