Adjunct Faculty - Sociology

POSITION: Adjunct Faculty -Sociology

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's, ABD, or Ph.D. degree in sociology or a related field. Previous college teaching experience in the discipline is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the Sociology program, teaching up to 9 credit hours during the 15-week semester in one or more three-credit, in-person, undergraduate courses. Possible courses include Introduction to Sociology; Stratification; Research Methods; Environmental Sociology; Sociology of the Family; Sociology of Health; Topics in Criminology. 

POSITION DETAILS: Adjunct faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education.|

 

APPOINTMENT DATE: Courses begin August 2024. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
