Position Summary 

The Department of Business Management seeks applications for a non-tenure, full-time, 9-month, Visiting Instructor of Cybersecurity based on the Klamath Falls campus of Oregon Tech. 

The Visiting Instructor – Cybersecurity primary responsibility is teaching; including all levels of networking and cyber security instruction, specifically: 

Linux OS

System Defenses and Incident Response

Security Operations and Analysis. 

The Visiting Instructor will have the opportunity to collaborate with IT/CYB faculty in building and supporting Oregon Tech’s networking and cyber security programming, as well as local economic development efforts to identify initiatives and grow technology infrastructure within the local community.

Minimum Requirements 

Additional Requirements 

Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications 

Ph.D.

Evidence of prior teaching in higher education in networking and/or cyber security OR five years’ relevant industry experience in applying a systems development methodology to technology projects.
